Be well prepared for the surgery or treatment

If your doctor recently prescribed surgery with a local anaesthetic or pain treatment, a nurse or coordinator arranges with you the date when it will take place as well as any necessary pre-operative examinations. Blood tests can be carried out at the testing centre on the ground floor of the General Hospital (route 88). 

Also remember to:

• Contact your mutual health insurance
• Contact your complementary health insurance if you have one
• Check the clauses in your contract with your broker so as to be sure what costs this insurance will cover.
